Antigones death leads to the suicide of Creons son, Haemon, who was going to marry her, and because in conclusion to the su icide of Creons wife, Eurydice. The section of the bidding I would the like to centre on is the part of the play where Tiresias warns Creon that he must change his mind and give Polyneices a proper burial. I would like to start by noting that I fancy this was a really clever thing that Sophocles did in writing this play. I thought it was ironic that he chose to thrust a blind oracle try to change the shipway of Creon. He had visions of what would come of Creon and finally he decided he must do the adapt thing. b. The set that theatre director chose was genuinely simple and to me it gave the play a spicy feel and it gives the spectator the feeling that something bad leave happen. I also intrust the simple set that was use allowed the focus to be on the characters and the story. c. As I give tongue to earlier the director seemed to use darker scenes to set the moo d and tone of the script.
